The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is announcing that a base membership roll is being prepared by the Catawba Indian Tribe of South Carolina in accordance with the Act of October 27, 1993, the ``Catawba Indian Tribe of South Carolina Land Claims Settlement Act of 1993.'' The Catawba Tribe's current membership roll is open and will remain open for a 90 day period for the addition of the names of persons who can meet the requirements for Catawba tribal membership.
