SUMMARY: The Department of the Army (Army) is terminating the preparation of ( printed page 67825) an EIS addressing the Orange and Rockland Utilities Transmission Line Upgrade project at West Point, New York. DATES: This termination is effective on the date of this notice. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Department of the Army hereby provides notice of termination of the subject EIS, which was initiated by a Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement. The Notice of Intent was published in the Federal Register on 15 July 2022 ( 87 FR 42448 ). The EIS concerned potential environmental impacts associated with real estate transactions and a related utilities infrastructure upgrade at West Point, NY. Accordingly, the EIS initiated on July 15, 2022, is hereby terminated.
