This final rule implements a recommendation from the California Olive Committee (Committee) to decrease the assessment rate established for the 2025 and subsequent fiscal years from $28 to $24 per ton of assessable olives grown in California. This final rule is issued under the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937, as amended ( 7 U.S.C. 601-674 ) (the Act), amending Marketing Order No. 932 ( 7 CFR part 932 ; the Order), regulating the handling of olives grown in California. The Committee locally administers the Order and is comprised of producers and handlers of olives operating within the area of production.
