SUMMARY: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing for public comment a draft Regulatory Guide (DG), DG-1444, proposed Regulatory Guide (RG) 1.264, “Assessing Public Health Risk Associated with Chemical Hazards of Licensed Material.” This DG describes a methodology that is acceptable to the staff of the NRC to meet regulatory requirements assessing public health risk associated with chemical hazards of licensed material.
