Introduction On June 15, 2026, Nasdaq ISE, LLC (“ISE” or “Exchange”) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“Commission”), pursuant to Section 19(b)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (“Act”)  [ 1 ] and Rule 19b-4 thereunder, [ 2 ] a proposed rule change to amend the Exchange's Short Term Option Series Program to (1) permit the listing of up to two Tuesday and Thursday expirations for options on Exchange-Traded Fund Shares  [ 3 ] that meet the existing “Qualifying Securities” criteria in Supplementary Material .03 to Options 4, Section 5; and ( printed page 53287) (2) permit the listing of up to two Monday and Wednesday expirations for options on Exchange-Traded Fund Shares that meet new “Qualifying Securities” criteria. The proposed rule change was published for comment in the Federal Register on July 2, 2026. [ 4 ] This order approves the proposed rule change. II. Description of the Proposal Currently, the Exchange's Short Term Option Series Program  [ 5 ] permits the listing of up to two Monday and Wednesday expirations beyond the current week for options on certain individual stocks or Exchange-Traded Fund Shares (collectively, “Qualifying Securities”).
