Department of Commerce Foreign-Trade Zones Board [S-404-2026] An application has been submitted to the Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ) Board by the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company, grantee of FTZ 7, requesting an expansion of Subzone 7Q on behalf of Motorambar, Inc. The application was submitted pursuant to the provisions of the Foreign-Trade Zones Act, as amended ( 19 U.S.C. 81a-81u ), and the regulations of the FTZ Board ( 15 CFR part 400 ). It was formally docketed on August 11, 2026. Subzone 7Q was approved on November 26, 2019 (S-164-2019, 84 FR 66150 , December 3, 2019). The subzone consists of the following site: Site 1 (8.17 acres)—Road 869, Km. 2.8, Palmas Ward, Cataño. The applicant is requesting authority to expand the subzone to include a site located at Marginal Street Ponce By-Pass (PR-2) No. 7-8, San Rafael Industrial Park, San Antón Ward, Ponce (Site 2—2.11 acres). No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time. The existing subzone and the proposed site would be subject to the existing activation limit of FTZ 7. In accordance with the FTZ Board's regulations, Camille Evans of the FTZ Staff is designated examiner to review the application and make recommendations to the Executive Secretary.
