The security zone is necessary to ensure public safety and prevent sabotage or terrorist acts near the airport during the 2026 World Cup in Los Angeles, CA. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Los Angeles—Long Beach. DATES: This rule is effective without actual notice from June 15, 2026, through July 12, 2026. For purposes of enforcement, actual notice will be used from June 11, 2026, through June 15, 2026.
