SUMMARY: On June 8, 2026, we, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), published a document reopening the comment period and announcing a public hearing for the southern hognose snake. That document included an incorrect date for the public hearing in the DATES section. This document corrects that error. DATES: The comment period for the 2025 proposed rule is reopened. So that we can fully consider your comments in our final determination, submit them on or before July 8, 2026. Public hearing: On June 25, 2026, we will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule to list the southern hognose snake as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. eastern time, using the Zoom platform.
