SUMMARY: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing a policy statement entitled “Policy Statement on Mandatory Hearings for Reactor Licensing.” This policy statement sets forth the NRC's plan for conducting future mandatory hearings on reactor license and permit applications.
