Abstract

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for certain navigable waters of the Genesee River. The SLR is needed to protect personnel and vessels from potential hazards created by the Rochester, NY Harborfest Water Ski Show on June 20, 2026. This regulation prohibits persons and vessels from being in the regulated area unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Eastern Great Lakes or their designated representative.
