DATES: Effective date: This interim final rule is effective on May 22, 2026. Comment date: Comments must be received by June 26, 2026. Expiration date: Unless extended after consideration of submitted comments, this interim final rule will cease to be in effect on the earlier of (1) six months from the publication of this interim final rule, or (2) when the HHS Secretary determines there is no longer a need for this interim final rule.
