The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for navigable waters of the York River. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Yorktown, VA during a high speed boat race and docking contest. This regulation prohibits persons and vessels from entering the regulated area unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Virginia (COTP) or their designated representative.
