SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Petition On April 21, 2026, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) received a countervailing duty (CVD) petition concerning imports of Tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (Tris) from the People's Republic of China (China), filed in proper form on behalf of Advancion Corporation (the petitioner), a domestic producer of Tris. [ 1 ] The CVD Petition was accompanied by an antidumping duty (AD) petition concerning imports of Tris from China. [ 2 ] Between April 27 and May 5, 2026, Commerce requested supplemental information pertaining to certain aspects of the Petition in supplemental questionnaires. [ 3 ] Between April 30 and May 6, 2026, the petitioner filed timely responses to these requests for additional information.
