SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Petition On July 23, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) received a countervailing duty (CVD) petition concerning imports of certain freight rail couplers and parts thereof (freight rail couplers) from India filed in proper form on behalf of the Coalition of Freight Coupler Producers (the petitioner). [ 1 ] The CVD Petition was accompanied by antidumping duty (AD) petitions concerning imports of freight rail couplers from the Czech Republic and India. [ 2 ] Between July 28 and August 8, 2025, Commerce requested supplemental information pertaining to certain aspects of the Petition in supplemental questionnaires. [ 3 ] Between July 30 and August 11, 2025, the petitioner filed timely responses to these requests for additional information.
