Ford Motor Company (Ford) has determined that certain model year (MY) 2018-2024 Ford and Lincoln motor vehicles do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 101, Controls and Displays, FMVSS No. 105, Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems, and FMVSS No. 135, Light Vehicle Brake Systems. Ford filed a noncompliance report dated September 13, 2024, and subsequently petitioned NHTSA (the "Agency") on October 4, 2024, for a decision that the subject noncompliance is inconsequential as it relates to motor vehicle safety.
