Abstract

In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology (SCIAA); South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (SCPRT); South Carolina State Museum; U.S. Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service (US FWS) Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge and Santee National Wildlife Refuge; University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Research Laboratories of Archaeology; and Yale Peabody Museum, hereafter the Collaborating Museums, have completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects and have determined that there is a cultural affiliation between the human remains and associated funerary objects and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice.
