SUMMARY: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing for public comment draft Supplement 63, to the Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) for License Renewal of Nuclear Plants, NUREG-1437, regarding the proposed renewal of Facility Operating License No. NPF-62 for an additional 20 years of operation for Clinton Power Station, Unit 1 (CPS). CPS is located in DeWitt County, Illinois, approximately 20 miles north of Decatur, Illinois. Possible alternatives to the proposed action of license renewal include no action and reasonable replacement power alternatives. DATES: The NRC will hold a virtual public meeting on May 6, 2025, at 3 p.m. eastern time (ET).
