SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Petition On November 25, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) received a countervailing duty (CVD) petition concerning imports of sol gel alumina-based ceramic abrasive grains (ceramic abrasive grains) from the People's Republic of China (China) filed in proper form on behalf of Saint-Gobain Ceramics & Plastics, Inc. (the petitioner), a U.S. producer of ceramic abrasive grains. [ 1 ] The CVD Petition was accompanied by an antidumping duty (AD) petition concerning imports of ceramic abrasive grains from China. [ 2 ] Between November 27, 2024, and December 17, 2024, Commerce requested supplemental information pertaining to certain aspects of the Petition in supplemental questionnaires. [ 3 ] Between December 4 and 23, 2024, the petitioner filed timely responses to these requests for additional information.
