The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily finds that countervailable subsidies are being provided to a producer and exporter of stainless steel flanges from India during the period of review (POR), January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022. Additionally, Commerce is rescinding this review with respect to five companies. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background On October 5, 2018, Commerce published the countervailing duty order on stainless steel flanges from India. [ 1 ] On December 6, 2023, Commerce published a notice of initiation of an administrative review of the Order. [ 2 ] On May 30, 2024, Commerce extended the time period for issuing these preliminary results by 120 days, in accordance with section 751(a)(3)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act).
