Background On May 1, 2024, OFAC issued GLs 95, 96, and 97 to authorize certain transactions otherwise prohibited by the Russian Harmful Foreign Activities Sanctions Regulations, 31 CFR part 587 . GL 95 and GL 96 both have an expiration date of July 30, 2024; GL 97 has an expiration date of June 17, 2024.
