Background On March 25, 2021, OFAC issued GLs 3 and 4 to authorize certain transactions otherwise prohibited by Executive Order (E.O.) 14014 of February 10, 2021, “Blocking Property With Respect to the Situation in Burma” ( 86 FR 9429 , February 12, 2021). On June 1, 2021, OFAC incorporated the prohibitions of E.O. 14014 into the Burma Sanction Regulations, 31 CFR part 525 .
