SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Petitions On April 27, 2023, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) received countervailing duty (CVD) petitions concerning imports of brass rod from India, Israel, and Korea filed in proper form on behalf of the American Brass Rod Fair Trade Coalition and its constituent members, Mueller Brass Co. and Wieland Chase LLC, U.S., producers of brass rod (collectively, the petitioners). [ 1 ] The CVD petitions were accompanied by antidumping duty (AD) petitions concerning imports of brass rod from Brazil, India, Israel, Mexico, South Africa, and Korea. [ 2 ] On May 2 and 10, 2023, Commerce requested supplemental information pertaining to certain aspects of the Petitions.
