Background On June 2, 2022, OFAC issued GL 25B, GL 36, GL 37, and GL 38 on its website to authorize certain transactions otherwise prohibited by the Russian Harmful Foreign Activities Sanctions Regulations, 31 CFR part 587 . GL 25B and GL 38 do not contain expiration dates. GL 36 expires at 12:01 a.m. eastern daylight time, August 31, 2022. GL 37 expires at 12:01 a.m. eastern daylight time, July 1, 2022.
