SUMMARY: In this document, the Federal Communications Commission (Commission) establishes a fee methodology for calculating small satellite fees. DATES: This final action is effective July 28, 2022. Pursuant to section 9(d) of the Communications Act, the methodology for calculating small satellite fees requires notification to Congress at least 90 days before it becomes effective. Notification to Congress was provided on June 3, 2022, and therefore the effective date for the small satellite methodology is September 1, 2022.
