SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Petitions On January 13, 2022, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) received antidumping duty (AD) petitions concerning imports of sodium nitrite from India and Russia filed in proper form on behalf of Chemtrade Chemicals US, LLC (the petitioner), a domestic producer of sodium nitrite. [ 1 ] The Petitions were accompanied by countervailing duty (CVD) petitions concerning imports of sodium nitrite from India and Russia. [ 2 ] Between January 19 and 27, 2022, Commerce requested supplemental information pertaining to certain aspects of the Petitions in separate supplemental questionnaires and telephone calls.
