ACTION: Notice of proposed determination and request for comment. SUMMARY: The Energy Policy and Conservation Act, as amended (“EPCA”), directs DOE to determine whether standards for metal halide lamp fixtures (“MHLFs”) should be amended. In this notice of proposed determination (“NOPD”), DOE has initially determined that the energy conservation standards for metal halide lamp fixtures do not need to be amended and also asks for comment on this proposed determination and associated analyses and results.
