Abstract

On April 17, 2020, the Coast Guard published a final rule updating the Liquid Chemical Categorization tables. The final rule contained minor typographical errors. This document corrects those errors.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: On April 17, 2020, the Coast Guard published a final rule titled “2013 Liquid Chemical Categorization Updates” ( 85 FR 21660 ) that becomes effective May 18, 2020. A routine post-publication review by the Coast Guard revealed minor typographical errors, such as text that was incorrectly italicized or run together. The errors included one incorrect Group Number and one incorrect Related CHRIS Code in the tables. The Group Number does not correspond to any Group, and the Related CHRIS Code repeats the listed CHRIS Code instead of displaying a related code. These typographical errors are not substantive, and correcting them aligns the final text with the stated ( printed page 27309) purpose of the rulemaking.
