SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Petition On September 25, 2019, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) received an antidumping duty (AD) petition (Petition) concerning imports of certain glass containers (glass containers) from the People's Republic of China (China), filed in proper form on behalf of the American Glass Packaging Coalition (the petitioner). [ 1 ] The AD Petition was accompanied by a countervailing duty (CVD) Petition concerning imports of glass containers from China. On September 30, 2019, Commerce requested supplemental information pertaining to certain aspects of the Petition. [ 2 ] The petitioner filed responses to these requests on October 4, 2019. [ 3 ] On October 8, 2019 and October 9, 2019, Commerce had phone conversations with the petitioner requesting that it address certain issues.
