SUMMARY: In this document, the Federal Communications Commission (Commission) updates its rules to provide new spectrum capacity and eliminate unnecessary restrictions in the Private Land Mobile Radio (PLMR) bands, while reducing administrative burdens on applicants and licensees. DATES:   Effective Date: December 27, 2018. Compliance Date: Compliance will not be required for § 90.175(b) and (e) or for § 90.621(d)(4) until after approval by the Office of Management and Budget.
