SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Postponement of Preliminary Determination On April 19, 2011, the Department of Commerce (“the Department”) initiated an antidumping duty investigation on certain steel wheels from the People's Republic of China. [ 1 ] The notice of initiation stated that, unless postponed, the Department would issue its preliminary determination no later than 140 days after the date of issuance of the initiation, in accordance with section 733(b)(1)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (“the Act”). The preliminary determination is currently due no later than September 6, 2011. On August 5, 2011, Accuride Corporation and Hayes Lemmerz ( printed page 50996) International, Inc. (collectively, “Petitioners”), made a timely request, pursuant to section 733(c)(1) of the Act, for a postponement of the preliminary determination in order to provide additional time for the Department to collect and analyze information for the preliminary determination.
