ACTION: Proposed rule; extension of comment period. SUMMARY: We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), announce the extension of the comment period on the proposed designation of critical habitat for Lepidium papilliferum (slickspot peppergrass). In total, we are proposing to designate 23,374 hectares (57,756 acres) as critical habitat for L. papilliferum in Ada, Elmore, Payette, and Owyhee Counties in Idaho. We are extending the public comment period an additional 60 days beyond the current scheduled closing date of July 11, 2011. If you have previously submitted comments, you do not need to resubmit them since we have incorporated them into the public record and will fully consider them in preparation of the final rule. DATES: Written Comments: We will accept comments received or postmarked on or before September 9, 2011.
