Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on November 17, 2003, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, 19 U.S.C. 1337, on behalf of Amkor Technology, Inc. of West Chester, Pennsylvania. Letters supplementing the complaint were filed on December 2 and 9, 2003. The complaint as supplemented alleges violations of section 337 in the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain encapsulated integrated circuit devices and products containing same by reason of infringement of claims 1-4, 7, 17, 18, and 20-23 of U.S. Patent No. 6,433,277; claims 1-4, 7 and 8 of U.S. Patent No. 6,630,728; and claims 1, 2, 13 and 14 of U.S. Patent No. 6,455,356. The complaint further alleges that an industry in the United States exists as required by subsection (a)(2) of section 337. The complainant requests that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue an exclusion order and a cease and desist order.
