Small Business Size Standards; Adoption of Size Standards by 2002 North American Industry Classification System for Size Standards

Small Business Administration

Abstract

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is correcting the direct final rule it published in the Federal Register on August 13, 2002, that would amend its Small Business Size Regulations by incorporating the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) 2002 modifications of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) into its table of small business size standards. The direct final rule published on August 13, 2002, contained a number of formatting errors that could make it difficult for some readers to distinguish between size standards defined in millions of dollars and those defined in number of employees. This correction contains a new table of size standards to clearly identify size standards by millions of dollars and by number of employees.
