Notice of Preliminary Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review, Preliminary Determination To Revoke the Order in Part, and Partial Rescission of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review: Fresh Atlantic Salmon From Chile

Abstract

In response to requests by fifteen producers/exporters of subject merchandise and L.R. Enterprises,\1\ the Department of Commerce (the Department) is conducting an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on fresh Atlantic salmon from Chile. This review covers seventeen producers/exporters of the subject merchandise. SUMMARY: In response to requests by fifteen producers/exporters of subject merchandise and L.R. Enterprises, [ 1 ] the Department of Commerce (the Department) is conducting an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on fresh Atlantic salmon from Chile. This review covers seventeen producers/exporters of the subject merchandise. The period of review (POR) is July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001. We preliminarily determine that sales of subject merchandise by four of the respondents under review have been made below normal value (NV). If these preliminary results are adopted in our final results, we will instruct the U.S. Customs Service to assess antidumping duties on appropriate entries based on the difference between the export price (EP) or constructed export price (CEP) and the normal value. We are also rescinding this review with respect to 68 producers, and preliminarily rescinding this review with regard to one producer. Furthermore, if these preliminary results are adopted in our final results of this administrative review, we intend to revoke the antidumping order with respect to Cultivos Marinos Chiloe Ltda. (Cultivos Marinos), Pesquera Eicosal Ltda. (Eicosal), Salmones Mainstream S.A. (Mainstream), and Salmones Pacifico Sur, S.A. (Pacifico Sur). We do not intend to revoke the antidumping duty orde
