[This is not a toll-free number.] SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is a component of the Office of Justice Programs in the U.S. Department of Justice. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 204 (b)(5)(A) of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 5601 et seq. (JJDP Act), the Acting Administrator of OJJDP published for public comment a Proposed Plan describing the program activities that OJJDP proposed to carry out during fiscal year (FY) 2002 under Parts C and D of Title II of the JJDP Act, codified at 42 U.S.C. 5651-5665a , 5667 , 5667a . The public was invited to comment on OJJDP's Proposed Program Plan for fiscal year 2002, which was published in the Federal Register on October 23, 2001 ( 66 FR 53692-710 ).
