Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on March 23, 2000, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, 19 U.S.C. 1337, on behalf of Rambus Inc., 2465 Latham Street, Mountain View, CA 94040. Supplemental letters were filed on April 4, 2000 and April 12, 2000. The complaint as supplemented alleges violations of section 337 in the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain synchronous dynamic random access memory devices, microprocessors, and products containing same by reason of infringement of claims 1-24, 27, 32, and 33-39 of U.S. Letters Patent 6,038,195, and claims 1-3, 6-10, 13-16, 18-21, 24- 26, 29-31, 33-34, and 37-38 of U.S. Letters Patent 6,034,918. The complaint further alleges that there exists, or is in the process of being established, an industry in the United States as required by subsection (a)(2) of section 337. The complainant requests that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a permanent exclusion order and a permanent cease and desist order.
