NY R03925 May 26, 2006 CLA-2-73:RR:NC:N1:113 R03925 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 7326.20.0070 Mr. James Yarshen Blackstone International, Inc, 2018 Lord Baltimore Drive Baltimore, MD 21244 RE: The tariff classification of pet cages and a pet bed from China Dear Mr. Yarshen: In your letter dated May 11, 2006, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The merchandise consists of two pet cages and one pet bed for use by dogs and cats in the home. The cage designed for a dog has an interior plastic liner. The cages and beds are composed primarily of steel wire and have a decorative plastic wicker covering. The bed has a fitted cushion. The applicable subheading for the pet cages and bed will be 7326.20.0070, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other articles of iron or steel, articles if iron or steel wire, other. The rate of duty will be 3.9 percent ad valorem. You have asked whether these products are subject to antidumping duties or countervailing duties.
