Pearce CVS/Pharmacy 1 CVS Drive Mail Code 5055 Woonsocket, RI 02895 RE: The tariff classification of assorted holiday wrapping paper from China Dear Mr. Pearce: In your letter, dated July 15, 2016, you requested a classification ruling. The ruling was requested on holiday wrapping paper. Samples were submitted for our review and will be returned to you, as requested. The holiday wrapping paper comes in a set of six rolls, each measuring 30 inches wide and 2.66 yards long. The paper is printed with holiday motifs and embellished with glitter designs. The paper stock is coated on both sides with calcium carbonate, and is bleached throughout the mass. You state that the paper weighs 60-70 grams per square meter. The applicable subheading for the assorted holiday wrapping paper will be 4811.90.8020, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, which provides for Paper, paperboard, cellulose wadding and webs of cellulose fibers, coated, impregnated, covered, surface-colored, surface-decorated or printed, in rolls or rectangular (including square) sheets, of any size, other than goods of the kind described in heading 4803, 4809 or 4810: Other paper, paperboard, cellulose wadding and webs of cellulose fibers: In strips or rolls of a width exceeding 15 cm or in rectangular (including square) sheets with one side exceeding 36 cm and the other side exceeding 15 cm in the unfolded state: Other: Other: Other: Weighing over 30 g/m²: Gift wrap (other than tissue).
