Fluocinonide ointment 0.05% is a topical medicinal preparation containing Fluocinonide, a synthetic corticosteroid, as the active ingredient. It is indicated for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Fluocinonide ointment will be imported in dosages of 15, 30 and 60 grams. The applicable subheading for the Fluocinonide ointment 0.05% in dosage form will be 3004.32.0000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides “Medicaments … consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses…or in forms or packings for retail sale: Containing hormones or other products of heading 2937 but not containing antibiotics: Containing corticosteroid hormones, their derivatives and structural analogues.” The rate of duty will be free.
