Huff Etna Worldwide Corporation 99 Madison Avenue 11th floor New York, NY 10016 RE: The tariff classification of a portable puppy play pen from China Dear Mr. Huff: In your letter dated July 14, 2016, you requested a tariff classification ruling. You submitted a photograph of item #4569, Portable Puppy Play Pen (small). The puppy play pen is constructed of eight panels composed of polyester and nylon mesh textile fabrics. The puppy play pen fabric panels fit over a metal frame creating an octagon shape. The puppy play pen features a water-resistant base and a zippered opening. The opening rolls up and can be kept open with a hook-and-loop closure which provides easy access to pet. The puppy play pen measures 29" L x 29" W x 17" H and can be collapsed for storage when not in use. When it is open, it can be staked down to the ground for stability. The applicable subheading for item #4569, Portable Puppy Play Pen (small) will be 6307.90.9889, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other made up textile articles, other. The rate of duty will be 7% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
