N265888 July 7, 2015 CLA-2-85:OT:RR:NC:N1:108 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 8526.92.5000 Mr. David Freston Control4 3612 West 1820 South Salt Lake City, UT 84104 RE: The tariff classification of radio remote controls imported with charging stations from South Korea Dear Mr. Freston: In your letter dated June 17, 2015, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The merchandise under consideration is the Control4 radio remote controls and charging stations, models SR260, SR-250, and SR-150. These items consists of radio remote control units imported with their charging stations. The remote controls can remotely control machines from a distance through radio frequency; and the charging stations, using lithium-polymer technology, include a low-profile cradle to keep the radio remote controls ready with a fully charged battery. The applicable subheading for the radio remote controls with charging stations will be 8526.92.5000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Radar apparatus, radio navigational aid apparatus and radio remote control apparatus: Other: Radio remote control apparatus: Other. The rate of duty will be 4.9 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
