Brunciak Interchem Corporation 120 Route 17 North Paramus, NJ 07652 RE: The tariff classification of Olopatadine Hydrochloride (CAS 140462-76-6) in bulk powder form, from Finland Dear Ms. Brunciak: In your letter dated May 4, 2015, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The subject product, Olopatadine Hydrochloride, is in a class of medications called antihistamines. It is indicated for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis. The applicable subheading for Olopatadine Hydrochloride, imported in bulk form, will be 2932.99.6100, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Heterocyclic compounds with oxygen hetero-atom(s) only: Other: Other: Aromatic: Other: Products described in additional U.S. note 3 to section VI.” Pursuant to General Note 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
