N254249 July 1, 2014 CLA-2-63:OT:RR:NC:N3:351 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 6307.90.9889 Mr. Sam Choi Lark International, Incorporated 9820 Bell Ranch Drive #102 Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 RE: The tariff classification of keder fabric from China Dear Mr. Choi: In your letter dated May 29, 2014, you requested a tariff classification ruling. You submitted a sample of polyethylene keder fabric, style GD12 (13)-10-30, which will be imported in 200 meter rolls. The keder rolls are made up from woven textile fabric with a rubber backing, which is a textile fabric for tariff purposes. The fabric has an extruded PVC (polyvinylchloride) or rubber cord bonded to one edge. The PVC or rubber cordage acts as an edge reinforcement for the fabric panel that helps when the fabric panels are installed to metal framing fixtures for permanent fabric structures, or to connect flat or shaped fabric panels with metal frames. The applicable subheading for the keder fabric will be 6307.90.9889, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, (HTSUS), which provides for other made up textile articles, other. The rate of duty will be 7% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
