Dear Mr. Wadiri: In your letter dated December 10, 2013, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The submitted sample, identified as item number 675, is a knitted textile bracelet. You state that the bracelet, which is constructed of 100% polyester, can be worn around the wrist or the ankle. The bracelet measures approximately 9 ¾ inches in length and consists of a chain of ten flat flower shaped knitted designs with two oval loops on one end. The bracelet length can be adjusted and secured by pulling the end of the bracelet through one or both of the oval loops at the other end of the chain. The applicable subheading for item number 675 will be 6117.80.9540, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Other made up accessories, knitted or crocheted; knitted or crocheted parts of garments or of clothing accessories: other accessories: Other: headbands, ponytail holders and similar articles." The rate of duty will be 14.6 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
