Dear Ms. Florentino: In your letter dated March 16, 2013, you requested a tariff classification ruling on behalf of Holloway Sportswear. As requested, your sample will be returned. The submitted sample, Style 222416 “Explosion Polo,” is a men’s shirt constructed from 100% polyester, finely knit fabric that measures 17 stitches per linear centimeter counted in the horizontal direction and 19 stitches per linear centimeter counted in the vertical direction. The shirt has a self-fabric point collar with an inner collar band of contrasting color mesh knit fabric; a partial front opening with three button closures; a contrasting color mesh knit inner placket; short, hemmed sleeves with contrasting color mesh knit edging; a high density rubber heal seal on the right sleeve; wide, contrasting color mesh knit piping on each sleeve and along the sides of the front panel; a rear yoke; and a hemmed bottom with a curved back panel and an inner facing of contrasting color mesh knit fabric. You state that the garment is made to men’s size specifications and will be imported in Adult (men’s) sizes S - 4XL. The applicable subheading for Style 222416 will be 6105.20.2010, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for : Men’s or boys’ shirts, knitted or crocheted: of man-made fibers: other: men’s. The duty rate is 32% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
