Dear Ms. Zarzecki: In your letter dated January 7, 2013, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The sample submitted will be returned. Style EZ130 “Men’s Tipped Pique Sport Shirt” is a men’s knit shirt constructed from 100% cotton, finely knit pique fabric that measures 10 stitches per linear centimeter counted in the horizontal direction and 20 stitches per linear centimeter counted in the vertical direction. The shirt has a rib knit spread collar, a partial front opening with three button closures, short sleeves with rib knit cuffs, a half-moon sweat patch at the rear neckline, contrasting color tipping on the collar and on the sleeve cuffs, and a hemmed bottom with side slits and a tail. Style EZ130 will be imported in men’s sizes S - 3XL. The applicable subheading for Style EZ130 will be 6105.10.0010, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for: men’s or boys’ shirts, knitted or crocheted: of cotton: men’s. The duty rate is 19.7% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
