Drawings and pictures have been submitted with your ruling request. The item concerned is a controller cabinet, NW 100/Controller Assembly (Part # 1002100). The subject article is a steel enclosure/cabinet for the controller assembly. You indicate that at the time of importation it will not include any electrical components. You also indicate that the cabinet is made primarily from 14 gauge steel and measures approximately 1240 mm (millimeters) high by 1280 mm wide by 558 mm deep. The applicable subheading for the controller cabinet, NW 100/Controller Assembly will be 7326.90.8588, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other articles of iron or steel, other, other, other, other, other. The rate of duty will be 2.9 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
