Your request pertains to five products marketed as air fresheners. Mon Areon Delicious, Mon Areon, and Mon Areon XXL are paper air fresheners impregnated with a fragrance indicated for use in the car. Areon Home Perfume contains a bottle of fragrance and wood reeds for use as a fragrance diffuser in the home. Areon Green Line Energizing is indicated for use as a car air freshener. The applicable subheading for Areon Home Perfume, Mon Areon Delicious, Mon Areon, and Mon Areon XXL will be 3307.49.0000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Pre-shave, shaving or after-shave preparations, personal deodorants, bath preparations, depilatories and other perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations, not elsewhere specified or included; prepared room deodorizers, whether or not perfumed or having disinfectant properties: Preparations for perfuming or deodorizing rooms, including odoriferous preparations used during religious rites: Other. The rate of duty will be 6 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
