Connor, Incorporated 799 Cromwell Park Drive Glen Burnie, MD 21061 RE: The tariff classification of a magnetic locker organizer from China Dear Ms. Royster: In your letter dated October 6, 2011, you requested a tariff classification ruling on behalf of your client, Magna Card Incorporated of Dubois, PA. You submitted a picture of an organizer made up of woven polyester textile fabric over a paperboard stiffener. It measures approximately 8-1/4”W x 16"L and can be suspended on a metal surface using the four quarter-sized magnets glued to the paperboard. The organizer can also be hung by the metal ring sewn on the top. The organizer features a shatterproof mirror, a mesh pocket, two clear vinyl pockets and a fold-out tray for storage. The applicable subheading for the Magnetic Locker Organizer will be 6307.90.9889, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other made up textile articles, other. The rate of duty will be 7% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
