Box 1579 Paramus, NJ 07652-1579 RE: The tariff classification of Dorzolamide Hydrochloride (CAS-130693-82-2) in bulk form, from Finland Dear Ms. Addabbo: In your letter dated July 8, 2010, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The subject product, Dorzolamide Hydrochloride, is indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. The applicable subheading for the Dorzolamide Hydrochloride in bulk form will be will be 2935.00.6000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Sulfonamides: Other: Drugs: Other.” Pursuant to General Note 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
